In March 2016 Ken and I hopped on a plane for China to bring home our 16 month old daughter. We always knew hosting exchange students would be part of our plan to help her know her birth culture and be a good global citizen. In Fall of 2011 we welcomed our first exchange student, a 15 year old young lady from China. Our daughter was asking lots of questions about what it would be like growing up in China so we decided it was time. Since then we have hosted 4 other students from Germany (Daughter), Sweden (Son), China (Son) and Chile (Daughter). We are looking forward to our 6th daughter from Thailand. I am also very involved in PTA at our schools and as a family we are all very involved in Scouts and our Church community.
