Introducing Our NEW LC Incentive Plan!

Hard work deserves recognition and reward. Our Local Coordinators do incredible things, and we should celebrate their efforts. To do that, we’ve revitalized our LC Incentive Plan to give you more rewards for all you do.

Everything you do as a Local Coordinator is given a point value. Those points can be redeemed in our NEW YFU Swag Store. Each item is worth a certain amount of LC Incentive Points, and the point total includes shipping costs. To redeem your points and receive your items, complete this form, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Here’s How Your Efforts Turn Into Points:

  • Make a social media post and tag YFU USA* – 1 point
  • Attend LC training* – 2 points
  • Complete a school visit* – 5 points
  • Assist with an in-person orientation* – 10 points
  • Hold a field event – 10 points*
  • Make a placement – 20 points*

Make 5 Placements – Earn a Cruise!

Don’t worry—your cruise incentive hasn’t disappeared. If you make FIVE placements*, you’ll earn a four-night Caribbean cruise that will set sail in January 2026!

The tracking period for these incentives is October 1st, 2024, to August 30th, 2025. Get to work and earn your LC Incentive points today!

LC Incentive Program Guidelines

At YFU USA, we want to ensure our Local Coordinator (LC) Incentive Program is straightforward and accessible. Below, you’ll find all the important details to help you make the most of this opportunity:

Placement Eligibility

  • Included Placements: Placements must be with new or former YFU families. You do not necessarily need to be the LC supporting the student if you were the one who recruited the host family.

  • Excluded Placements: Placements with other LCs or student moves are not eligible for rewards. Placements are tracked internally.

  • Referrals: This incentive plan does not include referrals through the YFU Refer-a-Host Family Program. However, LCs can recruit families outside their 100-mile territory and will be compensated on their LC invoice.

Logging Field Events

  • Event Log Submission: After completing an event, log your participation using the form provided on this page. Be sure to include photo proof to support your claim.

  • Log leads from these events in the main contact form, with your name and lead type in the message.

What Counts as a Field Event

  • School presentations (in class, at assemblies, or after-school events).

  • Rented tables or booths at fairs, conferences, and community events.

  • Promotional tables at school events (e.g., during lunch periods).

Additional Details

  • Social Media Points: To earn points for social media posts, tag YFU USA on Facebook or @yfuusa on Instagram. Posts must appear on your profile feed (Stories are not eligible).

  • Training Credits: Eligible trainings include monthly National LC Trainings and trainings or field calls hosted by your Community Manager.

  • Photo Submission: To receive credit for school visits, orientations, and field events, submit a photo of yourself at the activity along with your form.

How to Redeem

  • To redeem your points, please use the form above. Click on “Redeem Now” and choose which items you want to be shipped.
  • If there are color or size customizations, please add those to the comment box below the item selection.
  • We will manually order your selection and ship it directly from the manufacturer. When it is shipped, you will receive the tracking code. 
  • DO NOT attempt to redeem your LC incentive points by using your own credit card. It will charge your card as this live store is available for anyone to order from.
