We are back. We are strong. We are united with our partners, volunteers, and host families to reach our goal of intercultural understanding and lifelong learning through student exchange. For 70 years, YFU has remained a leader in international high school exchange. The health, safety, and well-being of all of our participants has always been our top priority.
FOR FAMILIES WHO WISH TO WELCOME AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT:
YFU welcomed a group of enthusiastic August and January 2021 arrival students and are now busy placing students for 2022 fall arrivals. For 2022, YFU is planning to again welcome students participating in several U.S. Department of State-sponsored scholarship programs– the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program with Germany, the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program, and the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program as well as several hundred students arriving from our YFU partner offices.

IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD ARE PREPARING TO LEAVE THE US ON A STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM THIS YEAR:
ALL FALL 2022 YEAR AND SEMESTER, as well as MOST SPRING 2022 programs are still scheduled for departure from the US, however, there have been impacts due to travel restrictions for some of our summer programming. We are standing by to answer questions you may have and to help accommodate you in any way that we can. If you have any questions, please contact admissions@yfu.org regarding our refund and cancellation policies.
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING A 2022 PROGRAM AND HAVE NOT YET APPLIED-Our application is still open for year and semester 2022 programs. We are accepting students on a rolling basis. Please contact info@yfu.org if you have questions.
