Butte College is located in Oroville, California and was the first school in the nation to be 100% solar powered. What’s more, Butte College is located on a 928 acre wildlife preserve. Butte’s campus offers modern facilities, small class sizes and a free bus transportation system.
New Fashion Program with Certificate!
Students take specialized coursework completing a certificate program in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design or Clothing Construction. Develop practical skills in the business of fashion from identifyingtrends and innovations to production, merchandising and promotions

Butte College’s international program helps to coordinate community volunteer opportunities in addition to a week-long specialized international student orientation week, conversation hours and other social activities. All student life campus events are available for international students to participate in.

The Social Chico Dorms are located in the city of Chico and buses are available to take you to the Butte College campus. Some rooms are private and others are shared, all come furnished with a bed, dresser and desk. A dining facility with meal plans are available to choose from. There are frequent, planned social activities like movie nights and adventure outings to participate in along with a recreation room and fitness center on-site.
