Ellsworth Community College has the highest student success rate (graduation + transfer) in the nation! Ellsworth offers 35 degree and diploma options that are accepted at most colleges and universities in the United States. ECC’s practical nursing program is ranked #2 in the state and its precision agriculture program is ranked #3 in the nation. 

+ International Support

ECC’s commitment to international students includes a support system of advisors and staff who works closely with students to ensure their academic and personal progress. ECC’s International Student Club is also part of the support system, providing a way for students to get to know each other and learn about different cultures.

+ Dorms

More than 400 of Ellsworth’s nearly 1,000 students live on campus. They’ll tell you there are lots of activities to do, and that living on campus makes the walk to class easy and quick. There are two residence halls and two apartment-style buildings on campus. Wall Hall houses 104 students and is co-ed. Thompson Hall houses 192 male students. The College Apartments house 76 students in a co-ed environment, and the College Suites house 39 students in co-ed suites and three single units.

Ellsworth Community College students graduating with an Associate in Arts (AA) degree may transfer their ECC credits to many different four-year colleges and universities throughout Iowa, as well as across the United States.
